The Malls In Murfreesboro

Malls in Murfreesboro Tennessee - There are really two main malls in Rutherford County. They are the Stones River Mall which has been around the longest and then there is The Avenue in Murfreesboro which opened in October of 2007.

Stones River Mall

Stones River Mall in Murfreesboro was really the main mall everyone went to although there was the outlet mall around as well. Stones River offered more stores and what people wanted. For the past couple of years, the mall has been under contstruction tto try and compete with the new outdoor lifesyle mall as they call in otherwise known as The Avenue in Murfreessboro.

The Avenue

The Avenue in Murfreesboro

is an outdoor mall (shops are all outside) which is the opposite of Stones River. Once of the drawbacks to The Avenue is when the weather is bad it isn't the best place to go shopping unless you are looking for a particular store.
